Support
Services
Although great emphasis is placed on research and technology,
the primary mission of the Ireland Cancer Center is to help
patients heal and give them hope for the future. That is why
much of our care focuses on caring for the emotional and
spiritual needs of patient and family. The Ireland Cancer Center
provides a full range of services to create a supportive and
compassionate environment. At the Ireland Cancer Center, medical
experts join with specialized nurses, dieticians, social
workers, psychologists, occupational and physical therapists, pharmacists, and
music and art therapists to ensure that the many needs of
patients and families are met—before, during, and after
treatment.
