Treatment Information

The most common treatments for cancer include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, biological therapy, and hormonal therapy. The type of treatment for cancer is determined by a number of factors including the type of cancer, the stage or the extent of spread, and personal factors. Many therapies are used in combination to combat the cancer. Patients with cancer are often offered the opportunity to participate in a clinical trial.
