Prostate
Cancer Symptoms
In many cases,
there are no signs or symptoms in the early stages of prostate
cancer. However, when symptoms are present, they may include:
-
Inability to urinate
-
Difficulty in urination, such as a weak or
interrupted flow, or problems starting or stopping the urine
flow
-
The need to urinate more frequently,
especially at night
-
Blood in the urine
-
Pain or burning upon urination
-
Ongoing pain in the lower back, pelvis or
upper thighs
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms,
which are similar to the symptoms of benign prostate disease as
well as other health problems, see your family physician
immediately. These symptoms do not automatically signal prostate
cancer, but may indicate some other medical problem.
